Applied Imaging Corporation will not sell images contained within cytopix.com without prior written agreement with the supplier.

In uploading images to cytopix.com you acknowledge that you are the lawful owner of the images or are acting on their behalf and with their full consent. You also warrant to the Publishers that the the images do not infringe any existing copyright or licence of any third party and that you will indemnify the Publishers against all losses, damages, interest and costs or expenses incurred by them as a result of any breach or alleged breach of this warranty. You assert your moral rights associated with these images.

Copyright remains with the original owner, but you agree to grant to the Publishers for the legal term of copyright a non-exclusive right and licence to produce and publish in all formats, including electronic formats, the image and its description in all languages and territories throughout the world as permitted by applicable law. The Publishers undertake that the authorship details provided by you will appear alongside the images.

Protecting your images

Cytopix.com is not a commercial image library. Images are only for private or educational use.

In accessing Applied Imaging’s webpages, you agree that you will access the contents solely for your own private use but not for any commercial or public use. You can download and use the service on a single CPU at a time and you can print out a single hard copy of any part of the content on the Applied Imaging website for your personal use.

Except as permitted above, you undertake not to copy, store in any medium (including in any other website), distribute, transmit, re-transmit, broadcast, modify, or show in public any part of the Cytopix.com / Applied Imaging website without the prior written permission of the Applied Imaging Corporation or in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
